Hardening
Induction Surface-hardening is one of the five product families of EFD Induction. Our equipments are mainly used in the automotive industry and machine building. For these standard applications we can offer you turn-key solutions for workpieces weight from 0,2 to 2.000kg and a workpiece length up to 8.000mm and a diameter up to 3.000mm.
The wide product range starts with hand operated machines and goes to fully automatic loaded and unloaded or robot operated solutions which also may be equipped with washing or straightening devices. According to the customers requirements EFD can offer you a HardLine equipment in vertical or horizontal version in combination with medium- or high-frequency converters with a wide power spectrum. The converters of the SINAC range may be used for all hardening and annealing applications in one machine which is time- and space-saving. This HardLine concept effects in a positive way your production possibilities, your quality, and as well your production costs.
All EFD HardLine machines are equipped with a standard control system type Siemens 840 D. Additionally, EFD has developed an interactive service network for our induction machines. So we can reduce the off-time to a minimum and defaults can be detected online. So we are as well in the position to optimize production processes online and setpoints are much more easy to reach and we are one step further to realize your production goals.
